License Refresh

Introduction

Refreshing your license is necessary when changes have been made to your existing license. Common scenarios include the addition of new add-on licenses, upgrades or extensions of the update subscription.

This process ensures that your system grants access to the newly included features or extended services.

How to Refresh Your License

Follow these steps to refresh your license:

Online Refresh

• Open the About page in the GUI and click on the License tab
• Select Refresh License
• In the license dialog, verify the displayed information
• Click on Request License and your license will be automatically downloaded and activated

Offline Refresh

If your Broadcast Suite server has no access to the internet, you can update the license as follows:

• Open the About page in the GUI and click on the License tab
• Select Refresh License
• In the license dialog, verify the displayed information
• Click on Download License Request

This will generate a license request. To receive your license, open the page license.broadcastsuite.cloud on another machine and upload the previously generated license request.

After receiving your license file, go to the About page in the GUI and click on Import License.
