Licensing

A valid license is required to run Broadcast Suite and can be purchased from SLG Broadcast AG.

Broadcast Suite licenses are sold as permanent licenses that never expire.

Update Subscription

The update subscription provides support and access to new versions, including major versions. It is billed annually.

Each purchase of a license includes a twelve-month update subscription.

The addition of new licenses, or an upgrade to a larger license, changes the cost of the annual update subscription.

The Broadcast Suite licensing is based on the configured triggers and actions:

License Request

Broadcast Suite requires licensing activation to unlock all features and functionality.
The licensing system supports both online and offline activation methods.

When Broadcast Suite is first installed and launched, it will be in a trial mode with limited functionality and no triggers or actions. To access the full features of the software, users must activate the license.

Activation Methods

You have two options for activating the software:

• License: This will provide permanent access to the software
• 30-day Demo: Users can request a demo license, which will provide full access to the software for 30 days

Online Activation

• Open the About page in the GUI and click on the License tab
  • If you already have a purchased license key, click on Activate License and enter your license details
  • If you want to try the software with a 30-day demo license, select Request Demo License
• Click on Request License and your license will be automatically downloaded and activated

For future changes of the license, you can simply click on Refresh License to download the latest license.

Offline Activation

If your Broadcast Suite server has no access to the internet, you can activate the license as follows:

• Open the About page in the GUI and click on the License tab
  • If you already have a purchased license key, click on Activate License and enter your license details
  • If you want to try the software with a 30-day demo license, select Request Demo License
• Click on Download License Request

This will generate a license request. To receive your license, open the page license.broadcastsuite.cloud on another machine and upload the previously generated license request.

After receiving your license file, go to the About page in the GUI and click on Import License.
