Breaking Changes

Attention! These things are very important:

• SBS-3419: VisTool Embed
  With the update to Broadcast Suite 2025.1 or newer, web panels can no longer be embedded into LAWO VisTool due to an incompatibility with the integrated Chromium engine. This incompatibility will be fixed in an upcoming VisTool version.
  As an alternative, you can use the Broadcast Suite Agent to show web panels on Windows clients.

Agent

• SBS-3690: Agent Auto Update
  We had to make some changes to the agent auto update. As a result, if version 2025.5 was previously installed, the agents will need to be manually updated again after this update.
  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Features

Let's explore what's new:

• SBS-2024: Statistics Index and Detail Page
  The technical menu now features a statistics index and detail page, where general CPU and memory usage, drive storage, number of initialized items and other useful information can be viewed. The index page also features a graph representation over all index entries and a Generate Statistics button.

Improvements

These things are much better now:

• SBS-2925: WhatsApp media messages generated by the WhatsApp action are now automatically deleted based on the new WhatsApp Downloads Data Retention setting

Agent

• SBS-3653: We have added a new parameter to the agent device. When Agent Browser Window Action Enabled is disabled, the agent can no longer execute the Agent Browser Window action.
  Since a self-embedded Chromium browser is required to execute this action, disabling this option can save resources.
• SBS-3697: We have improved the Agent Update action. It now shows whether the installer could be downloaded or not.

• SBS-3678: .NET 9.0.7 in Windows Installer
  We have upgraded the bundled .NET version to 9.0.7

Bugs

This should never happen again:

• SBS-3696: Fixed an issue where the CurrentValue and ValuesForPlaceholder in an action could be incorrect if the trigger was fired very frequently in a very short period of time.
  This change reverts the fix SBS-3693 from version 2025.5.2.
• SBS-3713: Fixed an issue where TCP clients could not reconnect to a TCP server after the connection was interrupted once
