Breaking Changes​

Attention! These things are very important:

  • SBS-3419: VisTool Embed
    With the update to Broadcast Suite 2025.1 or newer, web panels can no longer be embedded into LAWO VisTool due to an incompatibility with the integrated Chromium engine. This incompatibility will be fixed in an upcoming VisTool version.
    As an alternative, you can use the Broadcast Suite Agent to show web panels on Windows clients.

Features​

Let's explore what's new:

  • SBS-3322: Auto Refresh Button
    We have added a Refresh button to all index and detail pages. Clicking on the button refreshes the current page, selecting an Auto Refresh option from the dropdown menu automatically refreshes the current page in the specified time interval.
  • SBS-3383: Custom Analytics Scripts
    We have added a technical setting, to include custom tracking scripts in the header.

  • SBS-3314: Tenant Report
    We have added a PDF report with an overview of all assets, licenses, and subnets of the tenant.

    We have added a little something to brighten your day when you least expect it. Keep an eye out—you never know when a smile might find you!😊

Improvements​

These things are much better now:

  • SBS-2971: We have added a new placeholder {Event.LastTimeStatusOff} to indicate at what time an event last had the status off.
  • SBS-3136: We have optimized UI rendering during the log-in process
  • SBS-3158: MudBlazor v8
    We have updated MudBlazor to version 8
  • SBS-3173: We have improved the action log data for the actions so that the status is now always shown
  • SBS-3205: We have improved the protocol startup process
  • SBS-3253: We have improved all tables in detail pages. They all use the same format, and the individual columns are now sortable.
  • SBS-3338: We updated the style of all PDFs. Generated reports for licenses, history, and tenants now all use the same styling.

  • SBS-3295: We have added an Edit- and Delete-Button to the subnet entry table on the subnet detail page.
  • SBS-3305: Inventory Tables
    Slots, ports, and software are now configurable and deletable on assets on the detail page, and the table for subnet entries shows more advanced information.
  • SBS-3313: We have improved various inventory pages
  • SBS-3372: Inventory assets now automatically generate a unique asset tag

  • SBS-3035: We have added a snapshot tab to the client detail page
  • SBS-3037: We have added a snapshot tab to the fader detail page

Bugs​

This should never happen again:

  • SBS-3395: Fixed an issue where a user's individual permissions were deleted when the user was manually locked
  • SBS-3358: Fixed an issue where the connection diagram had incorrect offsets
  • SBS-3417: Fixed an issue where the OpenTelemetry push did not work reliably

  • SBS-3427: Fixed an issue where the agent could not write a log file because another user created the file. A log file is now created for each Windows user.
  • SBS-3430: Fixed an issue where the agent settings could no longer be read after an update

  • SBS-3316: Fixed an issue where the RPM files were not signed correctly

  • SBS-3280: Fixed an issue where the asset and license import did not work
  • SBS-3287: Fixed an issue where the rack view did not refresh after adding, deleting, or moving items.

  • SBS-3421: Fixed an issue where assets could not be added to a rack

Panels​

  • SBS-3331: Fixed an issue where an error was shown, when the global CSS stylesheet on the panel index page was left empty in the CSS Editor.
  • SBS-3357: Fixed an issue where a panel could not be loaded if a dropdown component was not configured with all values

  • SBS-1511: Fixed an issue where the Select-a-Line client views did not refresh after an external change
